Family Literacy

Project LIFT — Literacy Inspiring Family Transformation

Project LIFT is a free, seven week family literacy program that engages parents and children (ages 5-8) in reading, speaking, and creating activities. Project LIFT creates a positive environment for families to share happy reading experiences with their children and learn to become lifelong learners together. Parents will also learn reading and speaking practices to help their children succeed in school.  Children will have fun reading with their parents and engaging in activities centered on a book of the week that explores a different theme.
