Literacy Action knows that tutoring can be a big commitment that requires a lot of your time and energy. If this is not the best time for you to tutor a student, here are three ways you can give for free that will still have a big impact on our students!
1. Support through Workplace Giving. This is a simple way to make tax-deductible donations to local charities through payroll contributions. Please consider supporting Literacy Action through your employer’s workplace giving program with United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign (#63402).
2. Support Literacy Action on Social Media. “Like” us on Facebook and “Follow” us on Twitter @LiteracyAction to stay up to date on our students’ successes and events that raise awareness about adult literacy. “Share” and “Retweet” to become an advocate for Literacy Action!
3. Support while you Shop. When you shop at Kroger and AmazonSmile, you could be making a donation to Literacy Action without paying an extra dime. Follow these simple instructions to start giving today—for free!Shop at Kroger. Kroger will donate a portion of your purchases to Literacy Action at no cost to you!
